Our last event like this SOLD OUT!
]]>As a photographer, I always stress the importance of getting family portraits made. I always sympathize with moms because I do understand we do not like to be in front of the camera. We can list a thousand reasons why we shouldn't.
But we really need to make an effort to get in the picture. Our sons need to see how young and beautiful and human their mamas were. Our daughters need to see us vulnerable and open and just being ourselves — women, mamas, people living lives. Avoiding the camera because we don’t like to see our own pictures? How can that be okay?
Too much of a mama’s life goes undocumented and unseen. It made me think of all the times I am in front of the camera taking a family’s photos, but what about the times when I shy away from someone taking mine–even a candid? I always tell myself–there’s a reason I’m BEHIND the camera. But, how will my children remember me if I’m not in the photo???
We aren't promised tomorrow. Our kids love us just the way we are. Yes, it’s just that simple.
]]>When you're ready for the perfect family portrait give us a call and we'll do the rest, no need for candid shots just the perfect shot!
Happy Holidays from Integrity Imaging.

1) Go with the flow: Don't have your heart set on getting the perfect smile. It's all about capturing a moment. If your child isn't happy about going back to school, don't force the smile for a photo! Create the memory for whatever the moment is.
2) Don't let go of your camera: Especially if your kids are little, never put the camera down! You never know when they are going to make a face you don't want to miss!
3) Don't hesitate: Be quick pushing that button! Kids move fast, don't miss out on a moment!

1) Push your chin out and down to avoid a double chin
2) Hold the phone/ camera above you to shoot down on yourself
3) Put your hand on your hip to create angles and to cut your body in half
But... If you aren't good at taking photos of yourself, let us help you!
